1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using FieldBase, you agree to these Terms of Use and the FieldBase Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use FieldBase. These terms apply to all users, including free users, paid users, owners, admins, employees, invited users, testers, and business/workspace participants.

2. What FieldBase Provides

FieldBase is a business operations and project-management application.

Project tools

FieldBase may include tools for projects, estimates, quotes, scopes, schedules, tasks, receipts, documents, invoices, payments, project finances, directories, vendors, clients, employees, roles, and permissions.

Cloud and local storage

FieldBase may use local device storage, browser storage, Firebase, cloud sync, cloud backup, file storage, and app cache systems to operate the app and preserve user-created records.

AI and FORGE tools

FieldBase may include AI assistance, estimating support, pricing guidance, and FORGE-related tools. These tools are designed to assist users, not replace professional judgment.

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for the information they enter, verify, share, export, upload, and use.

Accuracy

You are responsible for verifying measurements, prices, taxes, material quantities, labor rates, equipment rates, scope details, legal requirements, permits, codes, schedules, invoices, and financial records before relying on them.

Backups and update safety

You are responsible for keeping backup copies of important business records. FieldBase may provide backup/export tools, update notices, and safeguards, but you should verify backups before deleting records, changing devices, clearing storage, uninstalling the app, changing sync settings, or installing major updates.

Account security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, controlling access to your devices, managing workspace invitations, and assigning roles carefully.

4. Accounts, Workspaces, Roles, and Access

Some FieldBase features require an account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for invited users, role assignments, employee access, company records, and workspace permissions. FieldBase may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if an account is used unlawfully, violates these terms, creates security risk, abuses the service, or interferes with other users.

5. Free Plans, Paid Plans, Subscriptions, and Add-Ons

FieldBase may offer Free, Pro, Business Pro, lifetime, trial, promotional, or add-on access depending on availability.

Plan access

Some features may be free, while advanced tools may require an active subscription, paid plan, owner override, promotional access, or approved entitlement.

Feature changes

Features, limits, pricing, plan names, storage limits, trial rules, add-ons, and availability may change as FieldBase grows. Patch notes may explain important updates.

Entitlement checks

FieldBase may check subscription status, account status, role permissions, payment status, and plan eligibility before allowing access to paid or protected features.

6. Payments, Google Play Billing, Stripe, Cancellations, and Refunds

Paid access may be processed by different payment providers depending on where the purchase is made.

For the FieldBase Android app distributed through Google Play, digital app subscriptions or paid app functionality may be processed through Google Play Billing where required by Google Play policy. For purchases made through the FieldBase website or another permitted non-Google-Play channel, payments may be processed through Stripe or another approved provider.

Subscription cancellation, renewal, refund, and billing management may be controlled by the payment provider used for the purchase. If you subscribed through Google Play, manage or cancel the subscription through Google Play subscription settings. If you subscribed through FieldBase web checkout or Stripe, use the available billing portal, in-app account controls, or contact [email protected]. Unless required by law or the applicable payment provider policy, fees may be non-refundable after purchase or renewal.

7. Estimates, Quotes, Pricing, AI Answers, and Business Decisions

FieldBase provides tools and guidance, not guaranteed professional outcomes.

No guaranteed pricing

Prices, estimates, quote outputs, AI answers, DMP fallback prices, regional pricing signals, and calculator results may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or not appropriate for your area or project.

User verification required

You must verify all outputs before using them for contracts, invoices, bids, customer communications, purchases, taxes, payroll, project scheduling, legal compliance, or financial decisions.

No professional advice

FieldBase does not provide legal, tax, accounting, engineering, architectural, insurance, financial, safety, code-compliance, or professional contracting advice. Consult qualified professionals where needed.

8. User Content and Uploaded Files

You remain responsible for the content you enter or upload.

You represent that you have the right to upload, store, process, and share the content you place in FieldBase. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate law, privacy rights, contracts, intellectual property rights, employment obligations, confidentiality obligations, or customer agreements. Do not upload malware, illegal content, abusive content, sexually exploitative content, stolen data, or content that harms the service or other users.

9. Business Directory, Shared Data, and Future Marketplace Features

FieldBase may include optional business directory, collaboration, quote request, vendor, or marketplace-style features.

If you choose to share a business listing, service listing, pricing signal, profile, or marketplace information, that information may be visible to other users or the public depending on your settings and feature design. If you choose not to share full business details, FieldBase may only place a limited business name or minimal listing reference in the shared directory and should not publish the full saved business details. You are responsible for reviewing sharing settings, confirming what is visible, and ensuring that shared information is accurate and lawful.

You are responsible for the accuracy of shared business information, pricing, availability, contact details, service claims, licenses, insurance claims, and representations. FieldBase does not guarantee that users, vendors, businesses, customers, or marketplace participants are qualified, licensed, insured, available, safe, or reliable.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse FieldBase.

No unlawful use

Do not use FieldBase for fraud, illegal activity, harassment, abuse, impersonation, spam, malware distribution, unauthorized surveillance, privacy violations, or deceptive business practices.

No system abuse

Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user’s account, reverse engineer protected systems, overload the service, scrape data without permission, tamper with Firebase records, or interfere with app operations.

No harmful content

Do not upload content that is illegal, malicious, exploitative, infringing, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or designed to damage systems, users, businesses, or data.

11. App Updates, Cloudflare Deployment, Service Workers, and Data Safety

FieldBase may use app updates, service workers, cache systems, version managers, update flags, and Cloudflare hosting.

Updates may change app files, layouts, features, cached assets, service worker behavior, patch notes, version numbers, or available tools. FieldBase is designed to avoid removing user-created data during app updates, and the app may use update flags or notices so users can backup/export records before installing updates. However, software updates, user actions, local browser/app storage changes, cache corruption, sync conflicts, device failure, third-party service outages, bugs, or account deletion requests may still affect data availability. Users should export or backup important records before major updates, clearing storage, uninstalling the app, changing devices, deleting records, or changing account/workspace settings.

11A. Diagnostic and Support Tools

FieldBase may include limited diagnostic tools to help test, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the app.

FieldBase may use limited diagnostic telemetry to understand app stability, update status, page navigation, feature usage, error reports, and device/app conditions. These tools are intended for troubleshooting, closed testing, support, security review, and app improvement.

Diagnostic tools are not intended to view passwords, payment details, private typed form contents, private messages, receipt contents, or full private business records. Where available, users may enable or disable diagnostic support permission in app settings.

12. Third-Party Services

FieldBase may rely on third-party services.

FieldBase may use services such as Firebase, Google Cloud, Google Play, Stripe, Cloudflare, email providers, analytics/diagnostic tools, storage services, and other vendors. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, billing rules, refund rules, data practices, outages, limitations, and security controls. FieldBase is not responsible for third-party service failures outside its reasonable control.

13. Intellectual Property

FieldBase, including its design, branding, code, features, workflows, AI/FORGE concepts, names, text, layouts, and app structure, is owned by FieldBase or its authorized rights holders.

You may use FieldBase only as allowed by these terms. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, clone, modify, reverse engineer, or exploit FieldBase except as permitted by law or with written permission. User-created business records remain the responsibility of the user or workspace that created them, subject to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers

FieldBase is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldBase disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, data preservation, business success, profit, compliance, or suitability for any specific project, trade, jurisdiction, or business need.

15. Limitation of Liability

Use FieldBase at your own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldBase and its owners, operators, developers, contractors, vendors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost data, accidental deletion, failed restore, sync conflict, project delays, inaccurate estimates, pricing errors, failed backups, payment issues, subscription issues, or claims arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, liability will be limited to the amount paid for FieldBase during the period allowed by applicable law.

16. Data Loss, Recovery, and User Support

FieldBase will make reasonable efforts to protect user-created records, but recovery is not guaranteed.

If you believe records were accidentally deleted, lost, overwritten, improperly shared, or affected by an update, contact [email protected] with your account email, affected workspace, approximate date/time, affected feature, and any available screenshots or export files. FieldBase may review available logs, app version data, Firebase records, backup records, and support details to investigate and attempt reasonable recovery. Recovery may not be possible if records were deleted by a user, removed from local storage, overwritten by sync, unavailable from backups, or affected by third-party systems outside FieldBase control.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

FieldBase may restrict access when needed to protect the app or enforce these terms.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these terms, failed to pay required fees, created security risk, abused features, uploaded harmful content, violated law, or interfered with FieldBase or other users. Users may also request account or data deletion by contacting [email protected].

18. Privacy and Data Deletion

Your use of FieldBase is also governed by the Privacy Policy.

Review the FieldBase Privacy Policy for details about information collection, local storage, cloud storage, AI learning signals, payments, service providers, account deletion, data deletion requests, and contact information.

19. Changes to These Terms

FieldBase may update these Terms as the app grows.

We may update these terms to reflect changes in features, payment providers, subscriptions, app store requirements, cloud services, AI tools, marketplace features, legal requirements, or business operations. Continued use of FieldBase after updates means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.

20. Contact

For support, billing questions, privacy requests, data deletion requests, app concerns, or legal questions, contact FieldBase.

21. Beta, Testing, and Early Access Features

Some FieldBase features may be experimental or still in active development.

During beta, closed testing, internal testing, or early access periods, FieldBase features may change frequently, contain bugs, be incomplete, or be removed. Users should test carefully, maintain backups, and avoid relying on unfinished features for critical business decisions without independent verification.
